As one of the caretakers of a Dover Family homestead in Hollywood and a Knight Family homestead in Clarkesville, Oaky has seen the buildings that succumb to time and those that weather time and are still strong. Generations of his family have done some things wrong and learned from them and done some things right and learned from them. Standing the test of time, some of these structures respect what thoughtful construction, respect for land, and intentional craftsmanship can achieve over time.
Yeni has observed these same homesteads for their 25 years together and has picked up and built upon the passion for building lasting structures of which the great grandchildren can be proud.
